Yusuf Bolat

Engineer & builder working across robotics, AI, and software — I like taking ideas from sketch to working prototype.

01_about

I'm passionate about robotics, AI, autonomous agents, and turning ideas into products that solve real problems, taking concepts from a conversation to a working prototype and iterating fast with real users. I love collaborating with ambitious people, and meeting founders, engineers, researchers, and builders from different backgrounds. I also love organizing events, camps, and bringing people together.

You can find me at the lab, hackathons, startup events, or conferences, playing football, volleyball, tennis, golf, or cycling. I'm always up for grabbing a coffee or a kebab and talking about whatever someone is passionate about.

RoboTIDE

2026

Turns fragmented robot docs into a live knowledge graph.

// best engineering award — yc × gstack/gbrain hackathon

A system that turns fragmented robot documentation — CAD files, firmware repos, manuals, and sensor logs — into a single unified knowledge graph. When equipment fails, RoboTIDE runs diagnostic checks across all systems in parallel instead of requiring manual, part-by-part investigation, then correlates the results to resolve the issue automatically or point an engineer straight to the fix. What used to take hours of investigation now takes minutes.

The Beast

2026

Fully autonomous multi-terrain robot with a 5-DOF arm and live vision.

A fully autonomous multi-terrain robot combining line-following with a 5-DOF robotic arm and camera-based navigation and object detection. The Beast handles a full task list on its own, with no human input: complying with traffic-light rules, scanning QR codes, and opening doors along its route.
